지도교수(Advisor) : 안기현 (Prof. Keehyun Ahn)

에이앤엘랩 (Ahnlab) 에서는 공간을 구축함에 있어서 새로운 기술,미디어,툴을 일상의 환경에 어떻게 적용하며, 그 결과로 구현된 공간에 대응하는 프로그램/소프트웨어에 대하여 연구하고 있다. 이것은 도시, 건축(Architecture), 인테리어(Interior)와 같은 공간/환경 디자인으로부터 시작하여 다양한 미디어와 새로운 테크놀로지(Technology)를 실험적으로 적용해볼 수 있는 파빌리온/인스톨레이션(Installation), 그리고 개념적이고 미술(표현)적인 것에 대한 건축화를 포함한다. 공간의 단순한 물리적 환경구축만이 아닌 내외부의 새로운 프로그램과 그의 스토리텔링에까지 작업하고 실험한다. 작게는 수저(Spoon) /보석(Jewerly)부터 크게는 도시계획에 이르기까지 다양한 스케일에 인간의 행태와 연관되는 모든 것을 대상으로 연구/실험하며, 그 결과물을 1:1의 실제 스케일로 실현을 목표로 한다.

AnLlab (as well as AnLstudio) is always seeking "Experimentation and Innovation" through emerging technologies, cutting-edge materials, academic theories about new design paradigms for its projects as well as innovative approaches to issues concerning sustainability and the environment. AnLlab’s primary goal is to break the tendency of simplification of architectural language from the past and move beyond categorical approaching and the stratification of architectural system toward a more "Integrated and Complex FUTURE".
